Originally sourced in Rajasthan we believe this interesting sideboard / shelving unit to be made out of Iroko. We are not sure what it would have been made for whether a drying rack or just as a decorative sideboard, using some old tiles to add to the look.
Circa 1900 with mostly original old paint, touched up and restored in places.
Overall it is a good sturdy piece and would look fantastic in a hallway even filled with boots and shoes.
