These interesting threshing boards were made to be pulled by cattle on top of freshly cut wheat, in order to break up the grain from the straw.
Spanish, circa 1890 this one has lovely naturally sun bleached flints with a great patina to the wood.
We love this mounted on a wall in a contemporary building as a pice of art, even above a fireplace or at the end of a corridor.
