This is a great piece of 1940s British design for the war effort.
Produced out of painted steel with a rubber surface. Designed to be dismantled for ease of transport to different field offices. Super simple with lovely clean lines.
Lots of natural patina and wear as per its age and use. Structurally still very sturdy.
Although it is a small desk and perfect for a child (my guys are 8 and 10 yrs old) it can also be used, as designed, for an adult.
