Late 19th-Century Catalan Bench

A really unusual late 19th-century Catalan Spanish bench, made from pine and in completely authentic, original condition. It has a beautiful, elegant shape to the back and a softly worn painted surface.

The seat lifts to reveal useful storage underneath, making it ideal for a hallway, boot room or kitchen. It is good and sturdy, with the bumps and scrapes you would expect from age and use. A rare and very decorative piece without being too precious.
