Late 19th-Century French Walnut Draper’s Table
A late 19th-century French draper’s table from Lyon, made from walnut with a lovely warm colour and patina throughout.
It has a long, well-proportioned top, two drawers with their original keys, and simple turned legs joined by low stretchers. We particularly like its pared-back simplicity—it has plenty of presence without being too showy. Its long, narrow proportions also make it very practical as a large console table.
Structurally very sturdy, with markings and scratches across the surface from age and use.
