Rare Early 19th-Century Spanish Olive Pot from Calanda

A rare early 19th-century Spanish olive pot from Calanda, traditionally used for storing olives. It has a rounded terracotta body, a decorative impressed rim and traces of dark markings running across its richly aged surface.

A characterful piece of Spanish country pottery, its generous proportions and sculptural form make it an impressive decorative feature.
